Join the Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) startup team as a GenAI Infra Specialist!
This position is part of the WWSO Startup team in EMEA, where you will support the Accelerated Compute and GPU business, going-deep with customers to understand their AI Compute demands, capacity requirements, translating their needs to AWS Compute offerings, and work with top Frontier AI customers on their AWS journey.
Key job responsibilities
- Interact at the CxO/VP level, as well as with developers and technical architects, to ease adoption, develop pipeline, secure lighthouse customers, drive top-line revenue, and explore partnerships for the most strategic GenAI startups at AWS
- Execute end-to-end deal ownership - from technical qualification to deal sizing
- Collaborate with AWS Custom Silicon, Compute, and Infrastructure Product teams to create solutions that solve customer problems
- Manage and Prioritize capacity allocation for Startups
- Develop and deploy programs that leverage AWS Field teams, as well as technology and consulting partner channels
- Own the GTM strategy and execution for GenAI, collaborating with teams in the field including Sales, Partners, Marketing, and other Specialists
- Work with Marketing to develop and align digital marketing campaigns to drive awareness and demand
A day in the life
You'll be part of the WWSO Startup team, where you will be a Technical Business Developer that helps start-ups adopt AWS’ technologies with a focus on GenAI, among others. You will 1/ Be the best storytellers and technologists, 2/ Work with the most promising start-ups, 3/ Scale tech knowledge via products, programs, and the AWS Field, and 4/ Gather critical startup feedback to inform our product roadmaps.
About the team
The WWSO (Worldwide Specialist Organization) helps customers adopt our newest and most advantageous technologies, sitting in the sweet-spot between product teams, account sales teams and customer success roles. We are technology specialists, who work backwards from our customers’ most complex, business-critical problems to dive-deep and guide customers through technical expertise, joint with building and executing go-to-market plans that turn AWS ideas into multi-billion-dollar businesses. WWSO teams include technical solutions architecture roles and technical business development roles.
The WWSO Startup team, is a segment of WWSO dedicated to going deep with startups in their domain or technology. We work with AWS Service Teams to ensure services and features continue to match the accelerating speed of startup development. We also support the wider Startup ecosystem, partnering with VC's to best support a startup's journey on AWS.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience in developing, negotiating and executing business agreements
- Experience in Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting
- Experience working with Advanced Compute technologies including, but not limited to: Accelerated Compute, High Performance Compute, Visual/Spatial Compute, and/or IoT.
- Familiarity with agentic coding tools, open-source software and working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA
- Experience developing and delivering presentations to large and diverse audiences
- Startup background and experience at a VC or PE-backed firm in a Product, BD, or Sales Executive capacity.
- Established track record of building rapport with Startup executives and closing strategic deals.
- Strong data-based storytelling skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with Startup executives and developers.
