
Microsoft is looking for a strategic and analytical leader to join the Xbox Supply Chain team within the Microsoft Devices Operations (MDO) organization. Our team is responsible for driving end-to-end supply chain strategies and performance to enable the business to meet its objectives for Xbox physical products.
Senior Games Software Supply Strategist will lead development and oversee execution of global supply positioning strategies across all stages of the product lifecycle, ensuring that inventory is positioned to deliver working capital, cost, and service goals. You will be working closely with Games Studios, Product Marketing, Finance, and various functions within Supply Chain to establish and manage the supply plan of record. Each day will bring new challenges, and you will be continually looking for ways to drive business profitability by planning and executing a predictable, reliable, and low-cost supply chain.
The Games Supply Strategist balances demand volatility inherent in entertainment media with cost-efficient production and distribution, ensuring titles are available at retail for launch windows while minimizing excess inventory and obsolescence risk. This is a high-impact individual contributor role where decisions directly affect title launch success, working capital, and player experience across millions of units annually

Responsibilities
Own end-to-end supply strategy for Xbox physical game media across all global markets and retail channels.
Drive demand-supply alignment for new title launches in partnership with Xbox Game Studios and third-party publishers.
Monitor inventory health and aged stock exposure; lead disposition actions for underperforming titles.
Develop and maintain demand forecasting models that account for digital-vs-physical mix shift trends.
Coordinate cross-functionally with logistics, finance, and channel teams to optimize supply/order execution and cost-to-serve.
Manage S&OP cycles with games-specific supply inputs, risks, and capacity constraints.
Identify and implement process improvements to increase agility as the physical media portfolio evolves.

Integrated Business Planning IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $97,600.00 - $188,400.00 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $125,000.00 - $206,400.00 per year.
