The Real Estate Group is looking for a motivated individual with fund accounting experience to work on the Finance and Operations team. This position is more than a typical accounting role as the team is also heavily involved in fund operations.

Initial Res pons ibilities:

Initial responsibilities include managing, reviewing, and participating in the fund operations and reporting process such as:

  • Review financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and IFRS Investment Company Accounting

  • I nt eract with the ex tern al audit and tax rep orti ng p rocess es with b ig 4 fi rms

  • C ompile, a na lyze a nd pre pare funds’ fi na ncial data a nd operating metrics

  • C redit facility loan administration and compliance

  • Coordinate with banks for foreign currency exchange and derivative transactions

  • Coordinate with fund administrator for accounting and reporting matters

  • Review i nves tor rep orts, cap ital call and distri buti on notices

  • Maintain i nves tor commi tments and ca pital a cc ount statements

  • S upport mark eti ng te am w ith d ata colle cti on a nd ad- hoc req ues ts

  • Ass ist a nd coor di nate with other depa rtments to fulfill fund operations, reporting requirements and responding to i nquir ies f rom inv es tors

  • Review ma na gement fee a nd wa terfa ll

  • Assist with providing financial information needed for complia nce a nd r egulat ory fil ings

Re quireme nt s

This posit ion offers e xcel lent opportu nities in a dyna mic en vi ronment. To qualify, ca ndi dat es must have

  • 3-5 years of Private Equity experience, preferably with a CPA

  • Fund administration, accounting or audit experience preferred with private fund Real Estate experience a plus

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel

  • Thorough and meticulous with extreme focus on details

  • Excellent communication skills, can work effectively with all levels and departments within a complex organization

  • Team player with positive attitude and proactive approach to work

  • Demonstrated leadership ability, a team player with positive attitude and pro-active approach to work

  • Highly organized with the ability to effectively manage multiple funds, competing priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience with Investran a plus

Salary Range: $115,000 - $135,000

Our compensation structure is comprised of a base salary and a short-term incentive program (cash bonus). Cash compensation tends to vary based on geography to account for local market conditions and is set to be market competitive. Compensation decisions are based on a number of factors including relative experience, overall years of experience, industry experience, education and designations.
