Senior Functional SME – Legacy ERP (DoD)

Location: Remote

Clearance: Ability to obtain/maintain a DoD clearance (as required)

Level: Senior

We are seeking a Senior Functional Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support a mission-critical Department of Defense modernization program. This role focuses on backlog grooming, functional design, and end-to-end test planning and execution within an Agile ERP environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the Definition of Ready for sprint work items
• Support program backlog grooming and sprint planning
• Develop functional designs and translate them into test conditions and scripts
• Execute functional testing through release completion
• Support production deployment and resolve post-release issues
• Collaborate within Agile delivery teams to deliver working software each iteration

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years supporting DoD Working Capital Fund environments
• Experience with legacy defense supply systems (D035J/FIABS, SMAS, GAFS-BQ/BL)
• Strong background in functional design, test planning, and test execution
• Experience working in Agile ERP programs

Preferred Qualifications

• 10+ years of ERP experience
• 10+ years of functional test planning and execution
