Job Description

The ISM Functional Leader – Outage Planning & Scheduling is accountable for defining and delivering the global vision for outage planning, scheduling enablement and Risk Management across Inquiry to Order & Order to Remittance (ITR) and One Field Services (OFS) within the Integrated Services Management (ISM) multi-year digital transformation program.

This role partners with Global Operations, Regional Ops, Projects & Engineered Solutions (P&ES), and Fulfillment to transform fragmented planning activities into a data-driven, KPI-led execution system. The leader ensures planning tasks, schedules, and operational milestones are unified into a single digital workflow—enabling real-time visibility, predictability, and performance management across the outage lifecycle.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Business Strategy & Vision Define and lead the global strategy for planning and scheduling across outage execution. Transform traditional planning tasks into actionable, KPI-driven workflows that directly influence operational performance, cycle time, and on-time delivery.
  • Process Harmonization & Operating Model Standardize and simplify planning and scheduling processes across ITR, P&ES (Field Services specific), OFS, and Fulfillment. Establish a single operating model for planning execution, embedding Lean principles and enabling daily management within transactional systems—not outside of them. Embed Lean principles and daily management in partnership with Global Operations to eliminate non-value-added activities, improve predictability, and enable consistent execution across regions.
  • Digital Roadmap Ownership Own the functional roadmap for Planning & Scheduling within ISM. Position Salesforce as the orchestration layer that integrates planning data across systems while ERP remains the system of record. Ensure scalable, governed solutions that enable real-time schedule management and execution visibility.

    • Planning-to-Execution KPI Alignment within ISM
    • KPI recalibration based on outage scope and schedule movement
    • Event Date Change Management
    • Field Services Risk Management
    • Project Performance Report (PPR) and OPU Process simplification
  • Transformation Delivery Partnership: Serve as the primary functional counterpart to IT. Co-own solution design, validate blueprints, and shape delivery to ensure alignment with business priorities. Drive clarity on requirements, scope, and value-based prioritization.
  • Change Leadership & Adoption: Lead enterprise change management by aligning stakeholders, clarifying roles, and embedding new ways of working. Drive adoption across regions while enabling structured decommissioning of legacy systems in line with the ISM roadmap.
  • People & Capability Leadership Establish strong functional governance, clear decision rights, and effective escalation mechanisms to enable speed and accountability. Build organizational capability to sustain transformation outcomes.
  • Legacy Application: Own functional accountability for legacy applications, ensuring committed backlog delivery with discipline while supporting transition and sunset plans aligned with the future-state architecture.

Qualifications

  • 10+ additional years of experience in cross functional roles supporting Commercial, Supply Chain, Field Services, Region Operations organizations

Desired Qualifications

  • Proven experience leading service, operations, or field service transformations across regions using Digital Technology.
  • Strong background in process standardization, Lean, and operating model design.
  • Functional expertise with GEV Applications specifically Field Vision, RealTrack and SMWB.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business strategy into scalable digital solutions in partnership with IT.
