Job Description

The Senior Functional Leader – Field Services Demand Placement is accountable for defining and delivering the global vision for integrated demand orchestration across the global operations ITRs and One Field Services (OFS) organization within the Integrated Services Management (ISM) multi-year digital transformation program.

This role establishes a unified operating model where field service scope, cost, and schedule are seamlessly translated into executable demand signals—covering internal and external resources, outage materials, and services. By bringing ITR and OFS teams onto a single platform, the leader ensures demand is accurate, timely, and fully aligned with outage planning and execution realities.

The role partners closely with Planning & Scheduling, Event & Project Enablement, and Field Services Fulfillment functional leaders to create a closed-loop system from scope definition → demand placement → execution readiness.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Business Strategy & Vision Define and lead the enterprise strategy for Field Services demand placement. Transform fragmented, manual demand creation into a scope-driven, system-generated demand model that ensures accuracy, compliance, and execution readiness—while embedding intercompany complexity seamlessly in the background.
  • Process Harmonization & Operating Model Standardize demand placement processes across ITR and OFS, establishing a single global operating model for how demand is created, validated, and committed. Embed Lean principles and daily management to eliminate non-value-added work and improve predictability.
  • Digital Roadmap Ownership Own the functional roadmap for demand placement within ISM. Ensure demand is system-derived from scope, cost, and schedule signals (not manually constructed), with Salesforce as the orchestration layer and ERP as the system of record. Drive scalable, governed solutions and eliminate point integrations.
  • Below is primary process in scope.
    • Work Order Creation from Field Services Scope and Cost (JCE)
    • Scope change management and downstream demand impact
    • Automated demand updates triggered by event date changes and schedule shifts
    • Demand coverage across TFA, Craft, OSS, Tooling, Purchased Labor, and Materials
    • Field Services demand includes – TFA, Craft, OSS, Tooling, Purchased Labor and Material
    • Integrated ERP PO creation and demand placement for non-Global Services internal providers (e.g., Digital, Controls)
    • External demand placement across ITR and OFS
  • Transformation Delivery Partnership: Serve as the primary functional counterpart to IT. Co-own solution design, validate blueprints, and shape delivery to ensure alignment with business priorities. Drive clarity on requirements, scope, and value-based prioritization.
  • Change Leadership & Adoption: Lead enterprise change management by aligning stakeholders, clarifying roles, and embedding new ways of working. Drive adoption across regions while enabling structured decommissioning of legacy systems in line with the ISM roadmap.
  • People & Capability Leadership Establish governance, decision rights, and escalation paths to ensure fast, compliant demand placement. Build organizational capability to operate in a data-driven, demand-disciplined environment.
  • Legacy Application: Own functional accountability for legacy applications, ensuring committed backlog delivery with discipline while supporting transition and sunset plans aligned with the future-state architecture.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
  • 7+ additional years of experience in cross functional roles supporting Commercial, Supply Chain, Field Services, Operations organizations

Desired Qualifications

  • Proven experience leading service, operations, or field service transformations across regions using Digital Technology.
  • Strong background in process standardization, Lean, and operating model design.
  • Functional expertise with GEV Applications specifically Event Vision, SMWB (Service Manager Workbench) and ERPs.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business strategy into scalable digital solutions in partnership with IT.
