We are seeking a highly analytical and curious Functional Consultant to join our Implementation team for Bodhee Production Scheduler (BPS), our Enterprise SaaS solution focused on advanced scheduling. The ideal candidate will excel in understanding complex production processes, mapping them to BPS configurations, and driving successful implementations. This role involves deep dives into client operationswhile collaborating with System Integrators or directly leading company-led projects. You will receive comprehensive training on BPS features, enabling you to strategize configurations. The role involves extensive client interactions and potential short-term global travel(s)

Key Responsibilities

- Elicit and understand why the scheduling solution is getting implemented in terms of business impact or pain points

- Understand the current way of working and what impact Scheduling solution implementation will have to the customer

- Usage of Elicitation techniques for requirement analysis as well as problem understanding

- Conduct in-depth analysis of clients' production processes, current scheduling methods, and pain points, asking probing questions to uncover details

- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the overall business context, including product importance, margins, and customer priorities, to create a helicopter view for good context understanding

- Map client processes into BPS by configuring master data, process flows, and optimization rules, using analytical aptitude to achieve desired scheduling patterns

- Produce detailed documentation for configurations, including process mappings, setup guides, and rationale for choices

- Strategize and implement BPS configurations to deliver intelligent scheduling outcomes

- Engage extensively with clients through workshops, requirement gatherings, and reviews, ensuring clear communication of BPS capabilities

- As part of System Integrator (SI) onboarding, guide partner teams in BPS deployment by training SI consultants on key features, responding to and resolving their queries, and sharing best practices to ensure smooth implementations

- Apply basic project management skills to track implementation schedules, identify risks (e.g., integration delays with ERP systems), and mitigate them to ensure on-time delivery, incorporating agile methodologies from the training manuals for sprint-based configurations

- Collaborate with internal teams, partners like System Integrators, and clients in an Agile environment, participating in sprint planning and retrospectives to refine implementations, such as using the import/export master data utilities to migrate pharma-specific data efficiently

- Support post-implementation activities, including training clients on BPS usage and troubleshooting initial scheduling runs, for instance, addressing side task configurations in pharma quality control to prevent bottlenecks in validation processes

- Create detailed requirement document with test cases which can be given to Product Team for enhancements for quarterly releases

- Proactively provide input to Product Team on the trends, missing pieces in the tool based on the learning while interacting with the customers

- Coordinate with internal teams such as DevOps, Testing Teams, Process Teams to ensure the implementation is done smoothly

Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in engineering (B.TechB.E/M.Tech), Management (MBA), or related field; preference for graduates from IITs, IIMs, or NITs

- 3-4 years of consulting experience with reputed consulting firms, including Big 5, ideally in manufacturing, supply chain, or SaaS implementation domains

- Strong analytical aptitude with the ability to learn scheduling domains quickly; training on BPS specifics (e.g., master data import/export, process mapping) will be provided

- Experience in client-facing roles with a proven track record of deep-dive explorations and creating high-level business overviews

- Fluency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Willingness for short-term global travel and work from office in Bengaluru

Bonus Skills

- Exposure to Enterprise SaaS solutions or scheduling tools like APS systems

- Exposure to Azure DevOps

- Experience with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project) for tracking risks and timelines

- Basic understanding of data integration, such as mapping ERP data to scheduling platforms
