Senior Functional Analyst – Microsoft Dynamics CRM

Location: Brussels, Belgium (Hybrid)
Start Date: August 2026
Contract Duration: Initial 5-Month Contract (Full-Time)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Functional Analyst with strong expertise in Microsoft Dynamics CRM to support a large-scale digital transformation programme within the public sector.

In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders to analyse requirements, configure Microsoft Dynamics where appropriate, and define detailed functional specifications for custom developments integrated with the CRM platform. You will also provide guidance to development teams and mentor fellow functional analysts with limited Dynamics experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse, and document business requirements.
• Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications.
• Configure Microsoft Dynamics CRM using standard platform capabilities, including forms, fields, views, and business rules.
• Identify when business requirements can be met through standard CRM configuration versus custom development.
• Support the design and delivery of custom applications integrated with Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
• Collaborate with internal and external development teams throughout the development lifecycle.
• Provide functional support during development, testing, and implementation phases.
• Mentor and support functional analysts in building Microsoft Dynamics CRM expertise.
• Facilitate workshops and contribute to change management initiatives.
• Follow established functional analysis methodologies and documentation standards.

Required Experience

• Minimum 10 years of experience in UML modelling.
• Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in CRM-focused functional analysis.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Dynamics environments (Development, Test, Production).
• Experience configuring Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
• Experience using Enterprise Architect.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Agile Scrum Certification

Preferred Background

• Experience working within the public sector.
• Experience in areas such as youth services, education, justice, culture, sports, or related government domains is considered an advantage.
• Knowledge of finance or accounting processes is beneficial.

Language Requirements

• French: Native or C2 proficiency (spoken, written, and comprehension) – Mandatory

Work Arrangement

• Full-time contract
• Hybrid working model (approximately 50% on-site in Brussels)
• Initial contract through December 2026, with continuation into 2027 anticipated based on project requirements.
