In this role, you'll:

Work as a Senior Functional Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in relation to enhancing HR processes and systems (all project based). You will provide functional leadership, offering crucial guidance and testing, and ensuring the adoption of best practices within your area of expertise.

You’ll design functional solutions, performing in-depth analysis, presenting tailored options that best meet company requirements. This role requires you to be a proactive problem solver, with a strong understanding of end-to-end business processes, aligned with thorough research activities. Working closely with stakeholders, you’ll translate functional and technical details into clear and actionable user stories, with defined acceptance criteria.

This role reports into the Senior Solution Architect (HR).

About you

For you to be successful within this role you should meet with all, or most of the following criteria:

  • 5+ years' experience with HR systems such as SAP HCM, S/4HANA Human Resources, and SuccessFactors (Employee Central, Onboarding, Performance & Goals, Learning, Recruiting, Succession, and Development)
  • Strong expertise in system configuration, implementation, and support
  • Proven abilities designing functional solutions and conduct thorough analyses to present tailored recommendations
  • Deep understanding of end-to-end HR business processes
  • Experience translating business and technical requirements into comprehensive user stories with clear acceptance criteria
  • Sound problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving complex issues
  • Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement and support organizational growth through innovative solutions

This is a fixed-term flexible hybrid role (6 month fixed-term opportunity). Please note, 50% of your time will be office based, with 25% of that time based from our office at Macquarie Park. Salary & Grading – $ 158,393.00 - $177,399.00 + super/Grade 9.
