As a SeniorFullstackEngineer on the Professional Services team, you willbe responsible forenhancing and improving our existing products to ensure public libraries,and their patrons,enjoy the best online experience possible. In this role, you will collaborate with a talented team to deliver impactful solutions, making a meaningful difference for libraries and the communities they serve.This roleprovidesan exciting opportunity to apply your skills and passion to impactful projects, using an AI-driven workflow.

This position is initially for the9-monthcontract with the possibility of extension

Howyou’llmake an impact:

• Work as part of across functionalteam to buildfullstacksolutionsthat improve the online patron experienceusing React, NodeJS,Railsand Java.

• Use AI assistants and agents to build features with less effort

• Write robust and quality code withappropriate tests

• Take ownership for the design,developmentand operationalization of features

• Collaborate and communicate effectively with cross functional members such asPS,Product,UX, and QA

• Participate in architecture designs, code review, and best practice discussions

Whatyou willbring to the team:

• 5+ years of software development experience buildinglarge scalefullstackapplications

• Proven backend experience using Java

• Strong theoretical foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software engineering best practices

• ExperienceleveragingAI to build features with less effort, whilemaintaininghigh quality

• Strong understanding of HTML, SCSS, and JavaScript

• Extensiveexperience buildingbackend RESTful API applications

• Experience debugging andoptimizinglarge-scale systems

• Passionate, motivated, and capable of working autonomously

• Strong communicationskills andcollaborativeacross team
