What You Will Do

• Design and build polished, performant UI experiences for mobile and web applications that facilitate real transactions with users in various environments.
• Own and evolve the payment-to-order application currently deployed on a college campus, iterating based on user behavior and business needs.
• Collaborate closely with hardware, operations, and product teams to create new kiosk and ordering experiences from the ground up.
• Contribute to zero-to-one product builds, focusing on innovation rather than maintenance.
• Make technical decisions that balance speed-to-market with long-term scalability as the product expands to new locations and verticals.
• Help establish frontend and mobile engineering standards, patterns, and best practices as the engineering team grows.

Ideal Candidate Background

• 3–8 years of experience in UI engineering, with a strong emphasis on mobile development and web applications.
• Proven experience building a product from concept to launch, with the ability to discuss key decisions, trade-offs, and lessons learned.
• Background in both startup and larger company environments, demonstrating the ability to move quickly while maintaining rigor in development.
• Candidates with extensive startup experience, particularly in zero-to-one roles, are highly encouraged to apply.
• Stable career trajectory with a commitment to engineering excellence and innovation.

Preferred

• Experience in cross-platform mobile development.
• Familiarity with payment processing systems and user experience design.
