Senior Fullstack Engineer

We're representing a dynamic company that is building an open-source CLI and code review dashboard designed to fundamentally enhance how engineers write, review, and ship code. The product is deeply technical and crafted for engineers passionate about their craft, and the team is a small, high-conviction group dedicated to creating tools that developers genuinely love to use.

What You Will Do

• Take direct ownership of fullstack features from conception through production, contributing across the entire stack with minimal supervision.
• Architect and build new product surfaces from the ground up, making foundational decisions around structure, scalability, and developer experience.
• Collaborate closely with a tight-knit engineering team where your decisions have immediate and meaningful product impact.
• Contribute to and help shape an open-source codebase utilized by developers worldwide.
• Engage directly with the product, understanding user needs, proposing improvements, and delivering end-to-end solutions.

Ideal Candidate Background

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a strong preference for candidates at the Senior to Staff level (7+ years of experience).
• Proven experience in building products and systems from scratch, transforming ambiguous problems into reliable, scalable solutions.
• A hands-on approach to coding, with a desire to be actively involved in development rather than just reviewing code.
• A deep passion for developer tooling, code quality, and the software development workflow, with a genuine interest in the problems this product addresses.
• Strong product instincts and the ability to work autonomously in an environment where ownership is expected.

Preferred

• Experience at product-led, engineering-first companies, particularly those known for their focus on developer tools.
• Familiarity with developer tooling, CLI development, or code review workflows.
• Contributions to or maintenance of open-source projects, demonstrating a commitment to community-driven development.
