
Senior Fullstack Developer (Python + LLMs) – Contract to Hire
Location: Remote (LATAM preferred)
Rate: Up to USD $65/hour (Contract, with potential full-time conversion)
About the Opportunity
G2i is partnering with an innovative, fast-growing AI startup building cutting-edge solutions focused on intelligent document (PDF) processing. This is a high-impact role for a senior engineer who thrives in early-stage environments and has hands-on experience building and deploying LLM-powered systems from the ground up.
You’ll work directly with a highly energetic and driven founder, so we’re looking for someone who matches that enthusiasm and enjoys fast-paced, collaborative environments.
What You’ll Do
Design and build scalable backend systems using Python
Develop and deploy LLM-based features from 0→1 (prompting, fine-tuning, orchestration, etc.)
Integrate LLMs into production-grade applications
Architect and implement APIs and services for AI-driven workflows
Collaborate closely with the founder and product team to shape the technical direction
(Optional) Contribute to frontend development using React/Convex
What We’re Looking For
Strong experience as a Senior/Staff-level Fullstack or Backend Engineer
Deep expertise in Python
Proven experience working with LLMs in production (OpenAI, open-source models, or similar)
Experience building and launching LLM products from scratch (0→1)
Solid background in startup environments (early-stage, high ownership)
Strong backend and system design skills
Ability to independently build integrations and ship quickly
Nice to Have
Experience with React and/or Convex
Familiarity with AI-driven document processing or similar domains
