About the Role

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Fullstack Backend Engineer with deep expertise in Python to architect, build, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs. This role blends backend development with modern AI/ML capabilities, including Generative AI integrations, and offers opportunities to contribute to both backend and frontend features. You will work closely with product, design, and data teams in agile environments to deliver robust, high-performance services that power innovative products. What You’ll Be Doing

• Architect, build, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs using Python and modern frameworks (e.g., FastAPI, Django, Flask).
• Design and extend services to integrate with databases, authentication, and third-party APIs.
• Develop and maintain data processing pipelines and backend integrations for product features.
• Own end-to-end delivery: backend architecture, deployment, CI/CD pipelines, testing, and performance optimization.
• Implement and expose AI/ML/GenAI features (e.g., LLM integrations, embeddings, vector search) as part of backend services.
• Collaborate with frontend developers on API design and occasionally contribute to frontend features (React/TypeScript).
• Participate in code reviews, bug triage, and feature optimization.
• Work closely with product, design, and data teams in agile environments (Scrum/Kanban).

What We Are Looking For

• 8+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong focus on backend systems.
• Deep proficiency in Python for building scalable services and APIs.
• Solid understanding of databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or equivalent) and data modeling.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and containerized deployments (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Strong foundation in software engineering best practices: testing, CI/CD, modular code, and performance tuning.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, LangChain) and interest in Generative AI applications.
• Knowledge of MLOps practices (CI/CD for ML, experiment tracking, model deployment pipelines).
• Experience with frontend technologies (React, TypeScript) to support full-stack development when needed.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and serverless architectures.
