Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer

Compensation

$170,000 – $210,000 Base + Meaningful Equity

Company Description

We are a fast-growing technology company building a purpose-built marketing and engagement platform for credit unions and consumer financial institutions.

The platform helps credit unions digitally scale the personal member experiences that traditionally happen in person, enabling them to turn single-transaction members into deeper, multi-product relationships through automated marketing journeys, member engagement, and operational workflows.

The company has achieved strong product-market fit, with 180+ credit union partners ranging from institutions with $6M to $34B in assets. The business has been profitable for more than 24 consecutive months while maintaining triple-digit annual revenue growth, serving a large and underserved market of more than 5,000 credit unions.

The engineering team is small, collaborative, and high velocity, with approximately 16 employees and plans to continue scaling. The culture emphasizes ownership, initiative, kindness, collaboration over ego, and technical excellence.

This is an opportunity to join as a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer and own major product and infrastructure initiatives across the entire stack, working directly with technical and product leadership in a highly autonomous environment.

What You Will Do

• Build Across the Full Stack: Develop and ship features across a React/TypeScript frontend and Express/Node.js backend.
• Work across DynamoDB, OpenSearch, and AWS to build scalable product and infrastructure capabilities.
• Maintain a balanced full-stack scope, with flexibility to work approximately 70/30 in either direction depending on product needs.
• Own Features End-to-End: Take ownership from technical design and implementation through testing, deployment, monitoring, and production impact.
• Build reliable, maintainable, and user-focused software that directly supports credit union customers and their members.
• Influence Architecture: Contribute to architecture discussions, technical design reviews, and code reviews.
• Help strengthen engineering standards, technical decisions, system design, and long-term maintainability.
• Partner with Leadership: Work directly with the CTO, CPO, and engineering team to scope features and balance business priorities with technical sustainability.
• Identify technical problems and opportunities independently and drive solutions from concept through production.
• Collaborate closely with product and cross-functional teams to translate business needs into high-quality technical solutions.
• Monitor and improve production systems, reliability, performance, and developer workflows.
• Move quickly in a small engineering organization where individual contributions have significant impact.

Experience Requirements

• 5+ years of full-stack software engineering experience.
• Strong experience building and shipping production software.
• Demonstrated ability to own features and technical projects end-to-end.
• Experience working across both frontend and backend systems.
• Strong track record of operating independently and taking significant technical ownership.
• Experience working in startups, high-growth companies, or lean engineering organizations.
• Comfortable making technical decisions and driving projects without extensive direction.

Technical Requirements

• Experience designing APIs and integrating frontend applications with backend services.
