CONTEXT

As a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer, you will design, build, and operate Domain APIs based on Domain-Driven Design principles.

You will transform complex business capabilities into clear domain models, well-defined bounded contexts, reliable APIs, and maintainable software. Working across both backend and frontend, you will help build business-critical applications and platform capabilities used across Edenred Group.

This is not simply an API implementation role. You will actively contribute to understanding the business domain, defining its ubiquitous language, identifying aggregates and invariants, designing clear application boundaries, and translating these decisions into production-grade software.

You will work within a cross-functional engineering team, collaborating with software engineers, architects, product managers, security specialists, platform teams, and business stakeholders across multiple countries and business units.

This is an end-to-end engineering role. You will contribute across the entire software development lifecycle, from domain discovery and technical design to frontend and backend implementation, automated testing, deployment, observability, and production operations.

YOUR PROFILE

You have over eight years of experience and possess the following skills:

• Proven experience working as a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer on production-grade applications.
• Strong collaborative mindset and clear, precise communication.
• Product and domain mindset, with the ability to understand business capabilities and user needs beyond individual technical tasks.
• Strong ownership mindset aligned with the principle: you design it, you build it, you run it.
• Fluent English and the ability to work effectively in an international environment.
• Strong experience with C# and .NET, building production APIs, backend services, and distributed applications.
• Strong experience with TypeScript and at least one modern frontend framework such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Strong practical understanding of Domain-Driven Design
• Ability to collaborate with business and product stakeholders to translate ambiguous business concepts into explicit domain models.
• Experience designing and maintaining Domain APIs with clear, versioned, and well-documented contracts.
• Good understanding of software architecture principles, including separation of concerns, modularity, clean architecture, dependency inversion, and appropriate coupling.
• Strong experience with automated testing across the stack, including unit, integration, API, component, contract, and end-to-end tests.
• Experience testing domain behaviour, business invariants, API contracts, and integration scenarios.
• Experience with frontend testing tools and practices, such as Jest, Vitest, Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Experience with event-driven architecture and asynchronous communication, ideally using Kafka or a comparable messaging platform.
• Ability to reason about data ownership, consistency, idempotency, auditability, concurrency, and failure modes.
• Familiarity with containers and cloud-native deployment practices.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code, particularly Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Terraform.
• Ability to investigate and resolve complex production issues across frontend, backend, infrastructure, and external integrations.
• Experience contributing to technical design and architecture decisions.
• Ability to provide meaningful code reviews and raise the overall engineering quality of the team.
