Line of Service Overview

Our Middle East Assurance practice includes over 2,300 people based in 12 countries across the region and is part of PwC’s global network that is operating worldwide. PwC Middle East’s Assurance practice combines the right mix of human-led and tech powered solutions to provide our clients with quality audits and other risk services that create confidence and impact in our region and across society.

Business Unit Overview

Those in software engineering at PwC will focus on developing innovative software solutions to drive digital transformation and enhance business performance. In this field, you will use your knowledge to design, code, and test cutting-edge applications that revolutionise industries and deliver exceptional user experiences.

How You’ll Contribute

• Own and ship end-to-end features with Django/DRF + React.
• Design clean APIs, integrations, and data models (PostgreSQL/SQL).
• Deliver GenAI features (summaries, extraction, Q&A, copilots) with guardrails.
• Improve reliability, performance, UX, and security.
• Raise the bar through mentoring and code reviews.

What You’ll Bring

• Strong production experience with Python + React (Or Vue.js, Angular.js)
• Deep Django + Django REST Framework.
• Strong SQL/PostgreSQL + solid system design instincts.
• Strong debugging/testing habits + CI/CD fundamentals.
• Comfortable building AI-powered features (LLM APIs, structured outputs, evaluation/feedback loops).
• Ownership mindset and clear communication.

Nice to have

• GenAI depth: LLM integrations, ML models, prompt patterns, RAG (embeddings + vector search), evaluation/monitoring.
• Azure services/deployments; IIS (Nginx bonus).
• Tailwind / Material UI / Bootstrap, Next.js.
• Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) + integrating low-code workflows with custom APIs.
• Power BI/Alteryx, Java, technical writing.

Education
BSc in CS/Software Engineering/CIS (or equivalent experience).
