Job Description

Senior Full Stack Java Developer

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Java Developer to support the modernization and evolution of complex enterprise applications within a hybrid and cloud-oriented IT environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize enterprise-grade applications and services
  • Analyze technical specifications and propose scalable and efficient solutions
  • Contribute to both development and technical analysis activities within Agile teams
  • Support the modernization of legacy systems and integration with modern architectures
  • Design and implement API-driven and event-driven solutions
  • Ensure application performance, scalability, security, and high availability
  • Collaborate with architects and technical teams on integration patterns, data models, and technical standards
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in interconnected environments
  • Promote best practices in software engineering, testing, and code quality

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in Full Stack Java development
  • Strong expertise in Java, Spring, and Spring Boot
  • Experience with microservices, REST APIs, GraphQL, and event-driven architectures
  • Knowledge of OpenShift, Docker, and containerized environments
  • Experience with Angular or ReactJS
  • Strong understanding of Hibernate, JPA, Maven, Git, and JUnit
  • Experience with relational databases such as MySQL and data modeling
  • Familiarity with Swagger/OpenAPI, SonarQube, SOAP, and CI/CD practices
  • Understanding of resilient architectures and security standards such as NIS2
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and Atlassian tools

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly
  • Proactive, autonomous, and quality-oriented mindset
  • Capable of bridging business and technical requirements

Languages

  • French, Dutch, and English (professional working proficiency)

Additional Information

  • Hybrid work model
  • Initial on-site onboarding period of two weeks
  • Contract until end of the year with possible extension
  • Location: Brussels, Belgium
