About the Role

Senior Fullstack Engineers at Brighte design, develop, test, and maintain software across the full stack from polished React interfaces to robust Node.js microservices.

We work in an AI-first culture where engineers proactively look for opportunities to embed intelligent tooling and AI capabilities into our products and workflows.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with product, design, and data teams to ship meaningful user-facing experiences, contribute to our microservices architecture, and help raise the engineering bar across the team.

What You'll Do

  • Design, build, and maintain full-stack features across our React frontend and Node.js backend services
  • Architect and evolve microservices with a focus on reliability, scalability, and developer experience
  • Integrate AI capabilities (LLMs, agents, intelligent tooling) into product features and internal workflows
  • Collaborate with product, design, and data teams to deliver high-quality user experiences
  • Contribute to technical roadmap discussions, code reviews, and engineering best practices
  • Mentor mid-level engineers and help raise the bar across the team

About You

  • You have a solid amount of professional experience as a fullstack engineer
  • Strong proficiency in Node.js (REST APIs, async patterns, performance tuning)
  • Deep experience with React (hooks, state management, component architecture
  • Hands-on experience building and operating microservices in production
  • Solid understanding of API design, database modelling, and distributed systems
  • Experience with CI/CD, testing, security and compliance
  • Experience in the AI space — building on LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.), RAG pipelines, or AI agents. You've used AI to fundamentally change how you work, not as a novelty, but as your default operating mode - this is essential to your success in this role.

Our Hiring Process - what to expect?

At Brighte, we use AI every day, and we hire people who do too. We're looking for people who have lived or are living the AI transformation and will drive this forward at Brighte. That's why all roles include an assessment which is designed to see how you put AI to work. There's no right tool (we use Claude, but you can use whatever you're most comfortable with), and there's no trick to it - we want to see how you think. We will talk about this in more detail if you are invited to a phone screen with our Talent team.

Towards the end of our hiring process, we require all candidates to undertake references and background checks, which include a police check, anti-money laundering and bankruptcy checks.
