What You Will Do
- Architect and develop full-stack features from conception through deployment, ensuring robust functionality and user experience.
- Contribute to technical decision-making, influencing stack choices, system design, and engineering standards.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code across both front-end and back-end systems.
- Collaborate with founders and product stakeholders to translate business needs into effective technical solutions.
- Proactively identify and address performance bottlenecks, scalability issues, and technical debt.
- Help establish engineering best practices, fostering a strong, high-trust engineering culture.
Ideal Candidate Background
- Proven experience building and shipping full-stack web applications in a production environment.
- Strong command of both front-end and back-end development, with the ability to navigate the entire stack fluidly.
- Experience in an early-stage startup or in a role requiring significant autonomy and self-direction.
- Demonstrated ability to make pragmatic architectural decisions under real-world constraints.
- A collaborative, low-ego approach to engineering and problem-solving.
