What You Will Do

• Architect and develop full-stack features from conception through deployment, ensuring robust functionality and user experience.
• Contribute to technical decision-making, influencing stack choices, system design, and engineering standards.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code across both front-end and back-end systems.
• Collaborate with founders and product stakeholders to translate business needs into effective technical solutions.
• Proactively identify and address performance bottlenecks, scalability issues, and technical debt.
• Help establish engineering best practices, fostering a strong, high-trust engineering culture.

Ideal Candidate Background

• Proven experience building and shipping full-stack web applications in a production environment.
• Strong command of both front-end and back-end development, with the ability to navigate the entire stack fluidly.
• Experience in an early-stage startup or in a role requiring significant autonomy and self-direction.
• Demonstrated ability to make pragmatic architectural decisions under real-world constraints.
• A collaborative, low-ego approach to engineering and problem-solving.
