Job & Division Summary:

Ingersoll Rand, through its Ecoplant platform, is transforming industrial energy systems using real-time data, machine learning, and intelligent automation.

Ecoplant is an AI-driven SaaS platform that helps large industrial organizations optimize energy usage, reduce operational costs, and improve sustainability through advanced analytics and automation.

We are looking for Senior Full Stack Engineers to join our growing engineering team in Bangalore. In this role, you will contribute to the development of our core SaaS platform, building scalable backend services and modern frontend applications.

This position can be filled either as a full-time role or as a long-term contractor, depending on the candidate profile and availability.

You will work closely with our global engineering and research teams in Israel and Europe, contributing to the continued growth of our platform and helping strengthen our engineering presence in Bangalore.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance core components of our SaaS technology platform
• Take end-to-end ownership of microservices and application components, including architecture, development, and deployment
• Build scalable backend services and APIs supporting data-driven and AI-enabled capabilities
• Design and implement responsive front-end applications in collaboration with product and design teams
• Lead feature development from concept through production deployment
• Design and maintain complex database schemas, including constraints, migrations, and transactional workflows
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following engineering best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment
• Contribute to improving engineering quality, system reliability, and platform scalability

Tech Stack

• Node.js, TypeScript, NestJS, React, PostgreSQL, Kafka / Redis Streams, Docker, Kubernetes, GCP / AWS

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
• Minimum 6+ years of experience as a backend or full-stack software engineer
• Strong experience with TypeScript and Node.js (required)
  Experience with NestJS is preferred
• Strong experience with React or modern frontend frameworks (required)
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS (preferred), GCP, or Azure
• Hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases, including schema design, migrations, constraints, and transactions
  Examples: PostgreSQL, DynamoDB
• Experience working with message queues or streaming systems such as Redis Streams, SQS, RabbitMQ, or Kafka
• Understanding of containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes-based container orchestration
• Experience with serverless technologies such as AWS Lambda is a plus
• Familiarity with AI-assisted developer tools (Cursor, Claude Code, or similar) is a plus
