Our Passenger Flow Traffic Monitoring solution is trusted by the world’s leading airports and train stations across four continents, including the most renowned hubs celebrated for their operational excellence and exceptional passenger experience.  We also deploy our solutions in other markets such as Tourism, Retail and Sports.
Additionally, our Car Traffic Remote Monitoring product is trusted by several Tier 1 customers, including BMW.
Context
We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer who will be a key contributor on the all the web applications of the Outsight Shift product suite.
Your primary mission will be to design and develop scalable frontend applications using Vue.js 3, TypeScript, and modern CSS techniques and webGL for in app 3D rendering as well as its associated node.js server backend.
You will work closely with our data engineers, scientist and product managers to deliver intuitive and efficient user experiences.
Our product ecosystem includes:Real-time 3D rendering of digital twins of the space watched by our solutionsLive analytics and visualization componentsBackend APIs served by node server & websockets solution for real-time updatesDeployment using Docker and Kubernetes containers both on-premise and in the cloud
You will help structure our frontend codebase to scale effectively as our product capabilities grow, with a strong focus on performance, usability, and maintainability.
Responsibilities
Lead the design and implementation of scalable frontend architectures with Vue.js 3, focusing on reusable components, state management, and code organizationBuild responsive user interfaces using advanced CSS, ensuring high performance and cross-browser compatibilityImplement interactive visualizations including WebGL enhancements to display our 3D real-time perception dataPartner with product managers to define user-friendly UXsDevelop backend APIs & websockets interface and integrate frontend featuresEstablish frontend best practices, coding standards, and documentation to guide the development teamMentor junior developers, review code, and promote collaborative and high-quality deliveries
What are the requirements for the role?
Master's degree in Computer Science, or a related field.5+ years of experience in professional web development with significant frontend ownershipExpert knowledge of Vue.js 3 (including Composition API and related state management)Advanced CSS capabilities including responsive designDeep understanding of frontend architecture, scalable code design, and performance optimizationCompetence in REST API integration, asynchronous JavaScript patterns, and modern ECMAScript standards (ES6+)Strong backend development and API design skills with Node.jsProven experience in implementing and troubleshooting WebSocket-based real-time communication architecturesKnowledge of Docker containerization in production environmentsFamiliarity with Git workflows, code reviews, and collaborative development best practices
Nice to have (but not required):Kubernetes experience, particularly in container orchestration and deploymentsAutomated testing knowledge (unit, integration, e2e) using frameworks like Jest or CypressExperience with monitoring tools like Grafana and PrometheusBackground in data visualization or real-time streaming applicationsPrior work in B2B SaaS or industrial IoT domains
