Responsibilities

• Producing clean, efficient code based on specifications and industry best practices
• Accountable for working with outside data sources and APIs
• Ensuring the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Understanding of continuous integration / continuous delivery concepts and the ability to troubleshoot related issues
• Actively participate in projects kick-off meetings and understand requirements
• Providing time estimates for new initiatives when requested
• Accountable for unit tests implementation when required
• Working on other technologies when required by the company

Requirements

Must-Have:

• From 4 years of experience using WordPress with decent React knowledge
• Experience with Next.JS, React.JS
• Basic English
• Experience with Git, CLI
• Experience with building and using APIs
• Experience writing Unit tests for WordPress projects
• Understanding of WordPress best practices
• Understanding of Docker and its usage
• Experience with relational databases
• Focused on performance and cross platform compatibility
• Experience in developing custom modules
• Experience in third party and WordPress APIs integrations
• Good understanding of SEO and accessibility best practices

Nice to Have:

• Any additional programming language is a plus
• Involvement in the WordPress community is a big plus
• Knowledge of JavaScript
• Experience in working with WeChat API
