Qohash is building the zero copy data security control layer, enterprises need to adopt AI safely.

Our platform, Qostodian, helps large organizations discover, classify, govern, and remediate sensitive unstructured data across their most critical data sources without moving or copying the data. This zero copy architecture reduces exposure, preserves data sovereignty, and allows enterprises to secure data directly where it lives.

This matters because AI adoption is increasing the risk, complexity, and urgency of enterprise data security. Before organizations can safely deploy AI agents, copilots, retrieval systems, or automated workflows, they need to know where sensitive data lives, who and what can access it, and how to enforce controls at scale.

Who you are

You’re an AI-native Full Stack Developer who leverages LLMs and AI coding tools as a core part of your daily workflow, not as an occasional aid, but as a force multiplier. You bring strong engineering fundamentals in Java/Kotlin and React, and you’re energized by the speed that AI-assisted development unlocks. You thrive in fast-paced, high-accountability environments and treat quality, security, and velocity as inseparable goals.

What you will do

• Analyze, design, and implement features.
• Develop Microservice Oriented Architecture & build reusable components.
• Write well-designed, efficient, and testable code, using AI coding tools to accelerate implementation while maintaining code quality standards and performing unit and integration tests.
• Analyze performance and reliability to ensure that data is moving fast and accurately.
• Perform identification of code metrics and necessary analysis (code, requirements, system risk, and software reliability).
• Correct anomalies and problems as they arise.
• Test the implemented features to make sure all acceptance criteria are met
• Review code and provide guidance to other engineers to ensure that software is developed with maintainability, performance and security in mind.
• Participate in projects from the initial idea to launch.
• Advise the product owner on technological choices and decisions concerning developments.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development velocity, including AI-assisted testing, automated deployment pipelines, and LLM-augmented code review practices.
• Review the security/reliability implications of software design decisions.
• Collaborate with the security team to integrate security best practices into software development processes.
• Communicate risks associated to any activity, technology or processes as you identify them
• Participate in incident response activities and work with the infrastructure and security teams to investigate and remediate incidents.

What your resume shows

Must Haves

• A strong alignment with our core values
• 7+ years of experience in Microservices development with Golang, Kotlin/Java, Springboot
• 5+ years of experience with Javascript Frameworks (React and Typescript)
• Demonstrated daily use of AI coding assistants (e.g., Claude Code or equivalent) to accelerate development, with the ability to critically evaluate, refactor, and own AI-generated code
• Proven ability to operate within Agile/Scrum delivery cycles, using AI tools to compress sprint velocity and maintain documentation quality without adding overhead

Nice to Haves

• Preference is for candidates resident in Quebec
• Experience working in a Startup environment
• Cloud (AWS or Azure) experience
• Experience with Cybersecurity
• Bi-lingual in English and French
