About Division:

Constellation Payments is a leading global gateway and merchant services provider with specialexpertisein software integration and recurring transactionsrepresentinga wide variety of verticals – including government entities, municipalities, moving and storage, club management, attractions, fitness, martial arts, eventregistrationand hospitality management.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, andmaintainbackend microservices in Python and Node.js/TypeScript using AWS Lambda, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Dataflow, S3,QuickSight, and Athena.

• Implement REST APIs to enable high-performance, secure integrations with internal and external systems.

• Build andmaintainfrontend features using moderncomponentlibraries such as React.

• Design andoptimizedata pipelinesleveragingKafka/MSK, Airflow, and cloud data lakes for real-time and batch processing.

• Collaborate with QA, Product, and cross-functional teams to troubleshoot, resolve, and prevent production issues.

• Write unit and integration tests, enforce coding standards, and refactor code to follow DRY and scalable architecture principles.

• Mentor junior developers on engineering best practices, cloud computing, and microservice design.

• Peer review commits andpullrequests, ensuring code quality and adherence to architecture standards.

• Document systems, workflows, and technical designs in Confluence for organizational knowledge sharing.

• Contribute to scaling initiatives by building ledger-driven financial workflows, transaction monitoring systems, and automated reporting pipelines.

• Experience working in Agile development environments, including Scrum or Kanban, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver iterative,highqualitysoftware.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 6+ years of software development experience.

• Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, React

• Cloud & Infrastructure: AWS (Lambda, S3, EKS,QuickSight), GCP (Cloud Functions, Cloud Run)

• Databases: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, AWS Athena

• Data & Messaging: Kafka/MSK, Airflow, SQS

• DevOps & Tools: Docker, Git, Confluence, Jira, CloudWatch Other: API Design, Distributed Systems, Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Experience with financial systems, payment processing, or ledger-basedarchitectures

• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation).

• Exposure to container orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS).

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions,CodePipeline).

• Knowledge of data visualization and reporting tools (QuickSight, Tableau, or Looker).

• Understanding of observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).

• Interestin mentorship, technical leadership, and architecture design reviews.

• Familiarity with machine learning and/or AI systems.

• Passion for continuous improvement, clean architecture, and developer experience.
