For the Headquarters in Brussels, we are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Full Stack Developer with a strong focus on backend development to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our development team, you will play a crucial role in modernizing our infrastructure, designing, building and maintaining rock-solid applications that allow us to continue to revolutionize the event industry. and interactions.

• Join our efforts to continuously improve and apply industry best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and address business needs.
• Engineer and oversee the implementation of clean, efficient code that powers our innovative online platforms.
• Safeguard the integrity and performance of our platform through meticulous testing, maintenance, and problem-solving.
• Work closely with the Product Owner to refine and iteratively improve solutions to upcoming challenges.

Profile & skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• At least 7 years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer.
• Strong expertise in PHP, Symfony, Doctrine, and related backend technologies.
• Experience working with and optimizing database systems and ORM frameworks.
• Experience applying modern-day development practices like containerization, Dev(Sec)Ops, IaC, automated testing, CI/CD, etc.
• Expertise in developing clean, maintainable code with a focus on solid architecture, easy testability, and effective modular design.
  
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for applying programming best practices.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a supportive and productive team environment
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment (no alpha personality)
• Fluent English.

• Proficiency in frontend technologies like React and WordPress.
• Proven track record of dealing with technical debt and modernizing infrastructure.
• Proven experience in optimizing performance on all layers of the stack.
• Experience working in a seasoned Scrum team.
