You embrace modern software development approaches, including AI-assisted workflows, and enjoy partnering with clients, Product teams, and engineers to deliver exceptional user experiences.

You Bring to Applaudo the Following Competencies:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field is desired, or equivalent professional experience.
• 6+ years of experience in Frontend Development building and maintaining complex web applications.
• Strong expertise in JavaScript, modern frontend architectures, and component-based development.
• Proven experience working with Vue.js and maintaining production-grade applications.
• Experience working with legacy frontend technologies and modernization initiatives.
• Strong understanding of frontend performance, scalability, and maintainability best practices.
• Demonstrated technical leadership, ownership mindset, and ability to influence engineering decisions.
• Proven ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive solutions proactively.
• Experience collaborating directly with clients and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience mentoring engineers and contributing to overall team growth and technical excellence.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and modern engineering practices.
• Experience with frontend testing methodologies and quality assurance practices.
• Strong collaboration, problem-solving, and results-oriented mindset.
• Advanced English proficiency.

You Will Be Accountable for the Following Responsibilities:

• Lead frontend technical initiatives and contribute to architectural and design decisions.
• Drive engineering best practices, code quality standards, and maintainable software solutions.
• Take ownership of complex features and ensure successful delivery of business-critical initiatives.
• Proactively identify risks, blockers, and opportunities for technical and process improvements.
• Partner closely with client stakeholders to understand requirements, provide technical guidance, and build trusted relationships.
• Participate actively in technical discussions, solution planning, estimations, and solution reviews.
• Mentor team members through technical guidance, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.
• Promote continuous improvement and help elevate the overall performance of the engineering team.
• Support the adoption of AI-assisted development workflows and modern engineering practices.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, QA, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Contribute to improving team efficiency, delivery velocity, technical excellence, and innovation across the engagement.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Frontend Development.
• Strong experience with Vue.js and modern JavaScript.
• Experience modernizing and maintaining production web applications.
• Technical leadership and client-facing experience.
• Advanced English proficiency.
