Senior Frontend Engineer – Trading Platform (Sofia, Bulgaria)
Our client, a global leader in fintech innovation, is looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join their high-performing trading technology team in Sofia. This is an opportunity to work on complex, real-time trading platforms where every millisecond matters. Design and develop high-performance React applications for trading platforms handling real-time market data.
Optimize frontend architecture for ultra-low latency data ingestion and rendering.
Implement scalable state management and data streaming patterns (Redux, React Query).
Collaborate with backend teams on microservices integration and API design
Lead code reviews, set performance standards, and mentor junior engineers.
Diagnose and resolve complex frontend and data performance issues in real-time environments.
8+ years of professional experience in frontend development.
Deep expertise in React including PWAs, reusable component architecture, and state management.
Proven track record in trading platforms or high-frequency, data-intensive systems
Strong experience with real-time data streaming and low-latency UI performance
Proficient in testing frameworks Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress.
Solid understanding of Node.js and backend integration with microservices
Knowledge of Docker, AWS (ECS/EC2), and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
Background in fintech or financial services preferred.

Hybrid work model – 3 days in-office, 2 days remote.
No weekend work – Monday to Friday schedule.
