About Routescanner
Routescanner is the world's leading container logistics intelligence platform, helping shippers, freight forwarders, and cargo owners discover, compare, and optimize intermodal container routes based on transit times, carrier reliability, and CO₂ emissions. Our platform connects thousands of logistics professionals with actionable, real-time routing data — making global supply chains more efficient, resilient, and sustainable.
We're growing fast, and we're looking for a senior frontend engineer who doesn't need hand-holding to thrive.
What You'll Work On
Build and maintain a React / TypeScript frontend at real scale
Own complex UI components: route search, filtering, map-based visualization, data tables, and comparison views
Work closely with backend engineers on API contracts (REST / BFF patterns)
Integrate third-party tools including Auth0, PostHog, Sentry, and mapping/routing engines
Maintain high performance standards — lazy loading, code splitting, bundle optimization
Leverage AI-assisted development tools (Claude) as part of your daily workflow
Ship via GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines
Participate in architecture and UX decisions — your opinion will carry weight
What We're Looking For
Must-haves:
5+ years of professional frontend development with React and TypeScript
Fluent in Polish and English
Strong understanding of component architecture, state management, and frontend performance
Experience working with REST APIs and designing frontend data flows
Solid command of modern CSS and responsive design
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows
Clean code as a practice — you write components your colleagues can confidently extend
Genuine ability to self-direct: you can take a loosely defined problem, break it down, and deliver
Strong plus:
Experience with geospatial or data-heavy UIs (maps, charts, large tables)
Familiarity with observability and error tracking tools (Sentry, PostHog)
Background in logistics, supply chain, or B2B SaaS products
Experience with design systems and component libraries
Familiarity with testing (Vitest, Playwright, or similar)
Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools
How We Work
Small team, high trust — no micromanagement, no approval chains for every decision
GitHub-centric workflow — PRs, reviews, and automated pipelines keep quality high without bureaucracy
Observability-first — we monitor, alert, and fix things before users notice
Clean code culture — we refactor, we review, we don't let tech debt compound silently
AWS-native infrastructure — you'll deploy to a well-maintained cloud environment without fighting DevOps
What We Offer
Competitive salary benchmarked to your market
Remote-friendly setup (we care about output, not location)
Direct impact on a product used by global logistics professionals every day
Work in a genuinely interesting domain — intermodal routing is hard, and the problems are real
A lean, senior team where your frontend decisions actually ship
AI tooling as a first-class part of the workflow — not an afterthought
