Frontend Engineer (React.js / TypeScript) – Onsite – Lahore

Hiring for one of our IT Software Development clients based in Lahore.

We are looking for an experienced Frontend Engineer with 3–5+ years of professional experience in building scalable, responsive, and user-friendly web applications. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in React.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript, with a solid understanding of modern frontend architecture and development practices.

The candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality frontend applications, integrating REST APIs, optimizing application performance, and collaborating closely with backend developers, QA engineers, and business teams.

Experience

3–5+ Years

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable web applications using React.js
• Build reusable, maintainable, and high-quality frontend components.
• Develop responsive and user-friendly interfaces across different devices and screen sizes.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and work closely with backend developers.
• Implement frontend functionality using JavaScript / TypeScript
• Work with React Hooks, routing, state management, form handling, and validations.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and overall user experience.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve frontend issues.
• Participate in code reviews and follow coding standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with backend developers, QA engineers, product/business teams, and other stakeholders.
• Take ownership of assigned modules and deliver high-quality solutions within timelines.
• Support CI/CD and cloud-based development workflows where required.
• Guide junior developers and contribute to improving frontend development practices when required.

Required Skillset

• 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in frontend development.
• Strong proficiency in React.js
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript
• Experience building responsive and scalable web applications.
• Strong understanding of:
  • Component-based architecture
  • React Hooks
  • State management
  • Routing
  • Form handling and validations
  • REST API integration
  • Responsive UI development
  • Performance optimization
• Experience developing reusable components and clean frontend architecture.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of Git and version control workflows
• Experience working with code reviews and development best practices.
• Good understanding of frontend security and application performance.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in FinTech, banking, lending, leasing, or financial applications
• Experience developing complex dashboards, financial forms, reports, and workflow-based applications.
• Understanding of loan, leasing, credit, and approval workflows is a plus.
• Experience with AWS and cloud-based applications.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience working on large-scale or enterprise applications.
• Experience mentoring or guiding junior frontend developers.

Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 3–5+ years of professional frontend development experience.
• Strong understanding of modern frontend development methodologies.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
