About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Frontend Developer to join our engineering team and help build scalable, responsive, and high-performance web applications. You will work closely with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and other developers to deliver reliable and intuitive user experiences.

The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern frontend development practices, along with a solid understanding of frontend architecture, performance optimization, testing, and reusable component design.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using React and TypeScript.
• Build reusable, maintainable, and well-tested frontend components.
• Translate UI/UX designs and product requirements into responsive web interfaces.
• Work closely with backend engineers to integrate REST APIs and GraphQL APIs.
• Develop and maintain frontend architecture and coding standards.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Implement effective state management using technologies such as Redux or React Query.
• Write unit and end-to-end tests using tools such as Jest and Cypress.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive technical feedback.
• Troubleshoot and resolve frontend bugs and production issues.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA engineers, and backend developers throughout the development lifecycle.
• Mentor junior and mid-level frontend developers.
• Contribute to technical design discussions and help establish frontend engineering best practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional frontend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Extensive experience with React.js.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3.
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as Next.js.
• Experience with state management libraries such as Redux Toolkit or React Query.
• Strong understanding of responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience consuming and integrating REST APIs.
• Familiarity with GraphQL is an advantage.
• Experience with Git and modern software development workflows.
• Experience writing automated tests using Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or similar tools.
• Understanding of frontend performance optimization techniques.
• Good understanding of accessibility and semantic HTML.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building and maintaining a design system or reusable component library.
• Experience with Storybook.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and frontend deployment workflows.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Vercel.
• Understanding of frontend build tools such as Webpack, Vite, or similar technologies.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development teams.
• Experience mentoring developers and providing technical leadership.

What You'll Work On

You will work on customer-facing web products that require high performance, reliability, and a consistent user experience. Your responsibilities will include building new product features, improving existing interfaces, developing reusable UI components, optimizing frontend performance, and contributing to the overall frontend architecture.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
