We are looking for a Senior Front End Engineer to help us further develop, modernise and implement our digital pension portals for customers. If you enjoy building intuitive user interfaces, improving shared front-end platforms and working in an agile environment, we would like to meet you.
As a Senior Front End Engineer within PDE, you use high-quality code to build and improve the online portals that pension providers use to interact with employers, advisors and participants. You develop new functionality on our modern PDE platform and help evolve existing customer portals and shared front-end building blocks towards our new front-end stack.
You will work on both customer-specific pension portals and shared components used across the PDE platform, including our shared-components and participant-components libraries. A key part of the role is contributing to reusable, configurable components that can be adapted per customer while keeping the codebase consistent, maintainable and scalable.
Together with Back-end Engineers, Test Engineers, Design Engineers and a Product Owner, you take full responsibility for a vital part of our digital engagement solutions. You analyse complex functional requirements and translate them into robust UI components and front-end architecture.
You strive to deliver solid and future-proof solutions by optimising performance, usability, maintainability and accessibility. You actively contribute to technical discussions, code reviews and front-end standards, and you support less experienced colleagues with your expertise.
As PDE continues to modernise its front-end landscape, you will help drive the evolution towards our new PDE front-end stack: Nuxt 4, Vue 3, TypeScript, Vuetify 3, Storybook and a modern Node/Vite-based development workflow. You will also contribute to our design system and component documentation, with WCAG accessibility and consistent user experience as core principles.
You will use AI-assisted development tools as part of your daily engineering workflow, including tools such as ChatGPT, Codex, GitHub Copilot and Claude. You know how to use these tools to speed up development, explore implementation options, improve tests and documentation, and support code reviews, while remaining fully responsible for the quality, security and maintainability of the final solution.
As part of a broader engineering community, you continuously look for opportunities to improve both your own skills and our front-end landscape.
The Plexus Digital Engagement (PDE) cluster creates and manages the online portals that pension providers use to interact with employers, advisors and participants.
We support existing customer portals as well as new customers adopting our modern PDE platform. Our team combines product experts, engineers and support specialists who work together to deliver and maintain customer portals and ensure they run smoothly and securely.
PDE plays an important role in helping pension funds and insurers offer clear, user-friendly digital services and supports Keylane's growth through new implementations and upgrades. You will work in a collaborative and experienced team where ownership, quality and continuous improvement are central.
On top of that, PDE is investing in the modernisation of its front-end platform and aligning our portals with WCAG accessibility guidelines, in line with the requirements of recent EU accessibility legislation.
