The Role:

The incumbent is responsible assisting the HOD of IT or team in the facilitation, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of each project for the business need; while remaining aligned with strategy, commitments and goals of the organization.

Job Responsibilities:

The position requires strong attention to detail, operational task management skills and problem-solving ability.

• Use markup languages like HTML to create user-friendly web pages.
• Develop and maintain high quality, fully tested source code, complying with high coding standard including monitoring and troubleshooting aspect (proper logging, exception handling, load balancing)
• Design mobile-based features
• Ensure high quality graphic standards and brand consistency.
• Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability.
• Optimize applications for maximum performance.
• Provide technical assistance during User Acceptance Test
• Get feedback from, and build solutions for, users and customers.
• Write functional requirement documents and guides.
• Stay up to date on emerging technologies.
• Convert normal HTML to reusable component libraries.

Job Requirements:

• Possessed a Bachelors Degree / Diploma / Professional Certificate in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or any IT related field
• At least minimum 10 to 20 years of proven working experience as a Front-end Developer
• Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with browser testing and debugging.
• Excellent analytical and multitasking skills
• In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment)
• Provide suggestion/solutions on clients change request.
• Flexibility to quickly adjust task priorities for unforeseen changes while following task deadlines.
• Communicate well with different teams without conflict, especially when it comes to working together to complete task.
• Hands on experience with frontend technology reactjs, redux, sass/scss, ES5/6, nodejs
• Experience in solving problems like caching, pagination and etc.
• Knowledgeable on web services and able to integrate API into website.
• Knowledgeable on mobile responsive approach
• Familiar with Git Repository
• Required language(s): English, Malay & Mandarin

• Fast learner
• Experience in leading / guiding junior(s)
• Ability to convert normal HTML to separate components using frontend frameworks.
• Experience on identifying and solving performance issue on the website.
• Understand metrics score such as First Contentful Paint, Time to Interactive etc.
• Self-motivated to complete target/goals, and plan several phases of the target/goal and take action to achieve it
• Willing to share knowledge with others.
• Willing to learn knowledge and skills out of frontend developer jobscope
• Knowledge on SEO
• Understanding of layout aesthetics
