Advanced Supply Chain Group offer a complete end-to-end supply chain service, from source to shelf, covering all aspects of supply chain management, global logistics, fulfilment, and value-added services, allowing our customers to maximise the opportunities that exist in today’s technology-enabled marketplace. Using our unique intelligent supply chain model, we design innovative solutions to complex challenges, unlock new opportunities, and speed up and streamline existing processes by removing complexity from the supply chain. It all adds up to providing a service that is “Better, Faster, Cheaper” than our competitors.

Our core values drive everything we do. We believe in promoting a supportive environment for our colleagues, delivering exceptional service to our customers, contributing to the community, and working towards a more sustainable environment If you share these values and are passionate about making a positive impact, we'd love to have you on our team.

About the role

This is a rare chance to own the numbers that steer a complex, fast-moving group - not just report on them. As our Senior FP&A Analyst, you’ll be the technical engine behind the forecasting and budgeting cycle, building and owning the integrated financial models that bring together every ASC business unit into one clear picture of where we are and where we’re heading.

You’ll be the person who turns a complex, multi-site, multi-currency, multi-ledger world into insight people can actually act on. From the forward P&L, balance sheet and cash flow, to the GP-by-customer models that reveal where we really make our money, these will be yours to build, own and improve. It’s genuine model-building from the ground up, not painting by numbers.

You won’t be doing it in a back office, either. You’ll partner with Commercial Finance Managers and operational leads across the business, challenge the data, and give people the insight that drives real decisions - cost discipline, margin improvement, value creation. And working alongside the Head of FP&A, you’ll have the visibility, ownership and runway to grow fast.

If you love building elegant models, automating away the manual, and seeing your analysis change what the business actually does next, you’ll feel right at home here.

What we need from you

Your qualifications

• ACCA or CIMA qualified - though we are open to strong finalists and part-qualified candidates with the right experience behind them

Your technical toolkit

• FP&A experience, including building integrated financial models in a multi-site or multi-entity environment
• Advanced Excel modelling - driver-based forecasting, scenario analysis and sensitivity modelling are second nature to you
• A proven knack for building and owning an integrated, driver-linked three-statement model where trading assumptions genuinely flow through to working capital, net debt and liquidity, not three statements bolted together
• Confidence with forward cash, working-capital and liquidity modelling
• Strong technical accounting under FRS 102 - accruals, prepayments, deferred income, revenue recognition, provisioning and a disciplined period-end close, with balance-sheet reconciliations you can stand behind
• A flair for automation and data engineering, Power BI and Power Query, to industrialise the manual stuff and free up time for the thinking that matters
• A sharp eye for variance and trend analysis, and the ability to build the bridges that explain what’s really going on
• Rigour around pulling clean, trustworthy data out of systems, plus cost and margin analysis at product-P&L level

What makes you, you

• A natural business partner who builds strong, trusting relationships with stakeholders at every level
• An excellent communicator who can turn complex numbers into a clear, compelling story
• Curious, rigorous and genuinely energised by solving the puzzle
