The Senior FP&A Analyst is responsible for supporting all aspects of the company’s financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis processes while serving as the primary administrator for the OneStream financial consolidation and reporting platform. This individual will play a key role in driving data accuracy, process automation, and enhanced financial insights to support strategic decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will combine a strong finance and analytics background with technical expertise in OneStream configuration, maintenance, and process optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Develop, maintain, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts, budgets, and long-range strategic plans.
  • Prepare detailed variance analyses comparing actual performance to forecasts and budgets, highlighting key business drivers.
  • Collaborate with business unit leaders to support operational planning and identify financial improvement opportunities.
  • Build and maintain financial models that support scenario planning, sensitivity analysis, and business performance tracking.
  • Provide executive-level reporting and dashboarding to support strategic decision-making and board presentations.

OneStream Administration & Development

  • Serve as the system administrator for OneStream, ensuring data integrity, access control, and process efficiency.
  • Maintain and continuously enhance OneStream applications and functionality, including metadata management, workflow configuration, cube view development, and report creation.
  • Manage financial data integrations between ERP systems and OneStream.
  • Support financial close, consolidation, and reporting cycles within OneStream, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
  • Develop and automate new reports, dashboards, and analytical tools within OneStream to enhance visibility and reduce manual effort.
  • Collaborate with IT and Finance teams to identify and implement system upgrades or enhancements.
  • Troubleshoot OneStream-related issues and manage relationships with external OneStream support and consultants.
  • Train and support FP&A and accounting teams on best practices and new functionalities within OneStream.

Process Improvement & Analytics

  • Identify opportunities to streamline FP&A processes and improve data consistency across systems.
  • Develop standardized reporting templates and ensure consistent use of key financial metrics.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to data governance and financial system automation.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to improve the integration of operational and financial data for analytics.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. CPA preferred.
  • 2+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, financial systems, or corporate finance.
  • 1+ year of hands-on experience with OneStream as an administrator or power user preferred.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, consolidations, and reporting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and data analysis.
  • Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Epicor, Dynamics) preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work cross-functionally.
