The Role

The Senior FP&A will be responsible for scaling the finance function to support the company's growth by building and streamline financial reporting at group level, and enhancing financial communication with the various business partners.

What you will do

  • You will act as the key finance, administrative business partner for our local team in the US, Portugal and support Brazil if necessary

  • You will improve the quality of our financial data at Local and Group level (US, Brazil, Portugal, Fance), and streamline the preparation of our reporting packs and board materials

  • You will help build a new tool stack to support finance development and compliance abroad.

  • You will help build a recurring monthly P&L view and robust budgeting process.

  • You will create Finance culture in Shotgun teams, by creating real business partnership with all stakeholders and empower them

  • You will support our accountants and auditors for end-of-period accounting procedures, including the preparation of our annual financial statements

βš™οΈ Operations
  • Co-own vendor payments

  • Manages monthly intercompany recharges & cash transfers

  • Co-own the finance tools stack

  • Co-own the relationship with:

    • Accountants & auditors

    • Payroll providers in US and Portugal

    • Banks & insurance

  • Investigate invoicing issues in relation with IT and Support team

  • Collaborating closely with the BusOps team to automate and streamline the financial reporting package

  • Ensure Finance operations across all geographies, including legal, payroll and financial tooling

  • Review deal structuring on larger deals for US / PT and support BR if necessary

  • Compute monthly accruals and commitments, and share with accountants / payroll teams

  • Review monthly accounting to ensure accuracy

  • Harmonize accounting & reporting between our different legal entities

  • Co-Lead end-of-year closing processes for FR / US / PT, and support BR if necessary

  • Prepare monthly reporting

  • Prepare and improve budgets and forecasts

  • Improve the monthly business review with deeper analytical and business insights and KPIs, thanks to a more accurate closing and budgeting process.

  • Implemente a Monthly Executive Summary for the Executive Commitee, integrating key financial and business data to drive decision-making and centralize information quality.
