It is the organization, office, or individual authorized to interpret and enforce applicable fire protection and life safety requirements and approve relevant designs, systems, or installations. Engineering degree supporting PE registration. Relevant fire protection engineering experience; PWS sets no minimum years. Historical category minimum is master’s degree and 15 years; current category requirements must be verified.
Relevant fire protection engineering education and experience appropriate to assigned oversight. PWS specifies no degree or years for DFPE. If QFPE functions are performed, meet supplied QFPE credentials. Current GSA category minima remain unverified.
