We're looking for a Senior Fintech Legal Counsel to lead the legal and regulatory side of our payments agenda — from launching cashless and wallet products across multiple jurisdictions to negotiating contracts with PSPs and partnering with tax, product, and LBP teams to keep launches compliant and commercially sound. The role suits someone with deep payments and fintech regulatory expertise who's comfortable owning complex, cross-border questions end-to-end.

Key Responsibilities

  • Regulatory analysis for implementation of hard / light cashless.
  • Review of contracts with PSPs for launch of hard / light cashless.
  • Work with the tax team to ensure tax efficiency of cashless schemes.

  • Regulatory analysis and legal support of wallet launches.
  • Audit of existing contracts with PSPs.
  • Elaborate best practices for contracts with PSPs.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

  • 4–7 years PQE, with at least 3 years focused on payments / fintech / financial services regulation, in a law firm and/or in-house at a global business.
  • Working knowledge of payments and e-money regulation across multiple regions.
  • Hands-on experience drafting and negotiating core payments contracts, including with PSPs, acquirers, and payout/disbursement partners.
  • Experience with marketplace payment flows.
  • Proven ability to advise business, product, finance, and tax stakeholders on new product launches and market entries, and to manage outside counsel across jurisdictions.
  • Strong commercial judgment and clear, risk-weighted advice; pragmatic, high-ownership, and comfortable with ambiguity.
  • Full professional fluency in Russian and English.
  • Law degree and admission to practice in at least one jurisdiction.
