Our corporate office is located in the Denver Tech Center. Our office spans the top two floors of the building and features expansive views of the mountains and the downtown skyline.

Job Description
AIR Communities is seeking a Senior Financial Systems Analyst to play a key role in supporting and optimizing our Workday Financials platform. This position is ideal for a Workday Financials professional who enjoys solving business challenges, partnering with stakeholders, and driving continuous system improvements.
In this highly visible role, you'll work closely with Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, Operations, and IT to support day-to-day system operations, enhance financial processes, and deliver reporting and configuration solutions that help the business operate more effectively.
This position sits within the Finance organization and offers the opportunity to become a trusted advisor to business leaders while expanding your expertise across Workday Financials. The role is focused on functional configuration and production support and does not include integration development or security administration responsibilities.
What We're Looking For
- Serve as a primary point of contact for Workday Financials users by providing production support and troubleshooting system, process, configuration, and reporting issues through resolution.
- Configure and maintain Workday Financials components, including Financial Data Models (FDM), company structures, worktags, hierarchies, business processes, validations, reporting, and related financial configuration.
- Partner with business users to understand requirements, evaluate impacts, and implement Workday solutions that support business needs.
- Evaluate downstream impacts of system and configuration changes across accounting, reporting, integrations, controls, and operational processes.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on Workday Financials experience.
- Hands-on experience with Workday Financials configuration, Financial Data Models (FDM), and organizational structures.
- Ability to build, modify, and troubleshoot Workday reports.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with Accounting, Finance, Treasury, and Operations teams.
- Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into Workday configuration and reporting solutions.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting Workday Financials in a production environment.
- Experience with EIBs, Prism Analytics, or Workday Spend Management.
Workday Financials Administration & Support
- Experience supporting Workday Financials in a production support environment.
- Background working as a Workday Financials Consultant, Systems Analyst, or Functional Analyst.
- Experience with EIBs, Prism Analytics, or Workday Spend Management.
- Experience partnering directly with Accounting or Finance organizations.
- Act as a functional subject matter expert across one or more Workday Financials areas, including:

- Support Workday release management activities, including impact assessments, testing, documentation updates, and adoption of new functionality.
- Coordinate testing efforts related to enhancements, upgrades, and configuration changes.
Business Partnership & Solution Delivery
- Partner closely with Accounting, Finance, Procurement, and operational teams to understand business needs and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Translate business requirements into scalable system solutions that improve processes, controls, and operational efficiency.
- Serve as a trusted advisor on Workday Financials capabilities, best practices, and process design.
- Assess enhancement requests by balancing business needs, system impacts, controls, reporting requirements, and long-term sustainability.
- Collaborate across departments to ensure solutions align with organizational objectives and governance standards.
Process Improvement & Governance
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of AIR’s financial processes and how they are supported within Workday.
- Evaluate the upstream and downstream impacts of system, process, and configuration changes.
- Identify opportunities to enhance automation, standardization, efficiency, and the overall user experience.
- Support governance and change management practices that promote consistency, scalability, and operational excellence.
- Help identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with critical financial processes and system changes.
Reporting, Analytics & Documentation
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, business processes, controls, and support procedures.
- Develop and support operational, financial, and management reporting solutions.
- Investigate and resolve reporting issues, data discrepancies, and process exceptions.
- Maintain documentation that supports knowledge transfer, cross-training, operational continuity, and audit readiness.

Additional Information
What We Offer
AIR offers attractive total compensation packages designed to recognize and reward performance including:
- Expected pay range of $100,000 - $120,000 base salary plus 10% annual target bonus. You will be provided a pay rate that is in line with your skills and experience as they relate to the requirements of the job.
