Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Due Diligence:

a. Conduct in-depth financial analysis for potential acquisitions, mergers, and other strategic transactions.
b. Review financial statements, trial balances, assess profitability, cash flow, working capital, and potential financial risks.
c. Identify and quantify key revenue drivers, costs, and risks impacting financial performance.

2. Quality of Earnings (QoE) Reports:
a. Prepare high-quality QoE reports that provide clear insights into the company’s financial performance.
b. Assess the sustainability of earnings and identify any adjustments required for accurate presentation.
c. Summarize and communicate QoE findings to stakeholders and clients, highlighting key issues and opportunities.

3. Financial Modeling & Analysis:
a. Develop detailed financial models to support transaction evaluations, including projections, forecasts, and scenario analysis.
b. Utilize Excel to analyze and manipulate complex datasets, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
c. Provide recommendations based on financial models to inform strategic decision-making.

4. Client Communication & Stakeholder Engagement:
a. Present findings in a clear, concise, and professional manner to senior management and clients.
b. Collaborate with internal teams, including finance, legal, and operations, to ensure comprehensive due diligence.
c. Address client questions and provide ongoing support through the transaction process.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in financial due diligence, quality of earnings, corporate finance, or related field.
• 2 years of managerial experience directly supervising and managing staff.
• Exceptional Excel skills, including financial modeling, data manipulation, and analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
• Broad based industry experience, including but not limited to the following: manufacturing, professional services, construction, business-to-business and more.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in a public accounting or consulting environment is a plus, with ability to work with small to medium sized business entities.
• Familiarity with transaction advisory services, quality of earnings, valuation, M&A, or investment banking.
• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
