Financial Crime Risk Management
Department Overview: This Senior Financial Crime Risk Analyst role under the Sanctions Group will perform 2nd level reviews of payment screening and name screening alerts to identify any sanctions implications or individuals/entities that may be designated. In addition, this role also involves periodic KYC reviews of sanctioned country nationals or citizens of broadly sanctioned jurisdictions. Lastly, this Senior Analyst will be responsible for mentoring other analysts and reviewing referrals or escalations from other business lines to determine any sanctions implications or red flags that may include sanctions evasion. There are additional responsibilities and the expectation of leadership to be a subject matter expert to guide other team members.
The Senior Financial Crime Risk Analyst role contributes to the development and maintenance of TD’s AML/ATF/Sanctions/ABAC programs, including frameworks, methodologies, policies, standards, procedures, awareness and specialized training, monitoring, management reporting and/or escalation of issues. This role conducts periodic and event driven reviews of customers, including targeted reviews to assess risks. Additionally, this role supports management in delivery of initiatives related to risk assessment, internal/external exam support, etc.
