Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Financial Controller to join our finance team. Reporting directly to the Regional CFO, the Senior Financial Controller will be responsible for financial controlling, reporting, budgeting, and rolling forecast processes, while also providing financial support to countries across the region as assigned by the Regional CFO.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review monthly and quarterly financial reporting in compliance with IFRS and Group reporting requirements.
  • Manage and coordinate the annual budgeting and rolling forecast processes, ensuring timely, accurate, and consistent submissions.
  • Provide detailed financial analysis, performance insights, and management reporting to the Regional CFO and senior management.
  • Monitor financial performance against budget, forecast, and prior periods, identify key variances, and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Coordinate with the global consolidation team and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in line with Group requirements.
  • Continuously improve financial controlling, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and transparency.
  • Support finance teams across countries within the region in financial controlling, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and other finance-related activities, as assigned by the Regional CFO.
  • Support the alignment and consistency of financial reporting and controlling practices across the region.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors and support the timely and accurate completion of audit processes.
  • Contribute to ad-hoc financial analysis, projects, and initiatives as requested by the Regional CFO.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant professional certification is preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in financial controlling, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, or audit.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting requirements.
  • Proven experience in managing budgeting and rolling forecast processes.
  • Experience working in a multinational organization.
  • Experience with a Big 4 accounting firm is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate financial data into meaningful business insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, as well as financial reporting tools and ERP systems.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively with finance teams across different countries and cultures.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving financial and reporting issues.
