Senior Financial Analyst, Wealth Strategy
Location: This posting is for an existing vacancy in Wellington-Altus’ Toronto office.

The opportunity:
Reporting to the Senior Vice-President, Wealth Strategy & Advisor Enablement, the Senior Financial Analyst, Wealth Strategy will be responsible for building and maintaining the firm’s data analytics set and reporting suite. The incumbent will have a sound understanding of the Canadian Wealth Management industry, familiar with core concepts around unique AUA and revenue platforms and streams, Advisor Compensation policies and grid payouts, and advisor code structures.
Key responsibilities include:
• Ongoing building and maintenance of WAPW’s internal firm and advisor level data analytics set.
• Preparation of monthly reporting set for Executive Committee, Regional Managers, Advisors teams, and other business line end-users.
• Ad hoc data analysis and reporting in support of policy decision discussions, advisor data requests, etc.
• Assist with ongoing administration of Advisor Compensation policies (commission payout, Office Efficiency Policy tracking and chargebacks).
The ideal candidate will possess:
• A bachelor’s degree or diploma in finance, accounting, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 3-5 years’ experience in a wealth management role; experience in an analyst position or within a product support role.
• CPA designation is a strong asset.
• Valid CSC/CPH or Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam (CIRE) is considered an asset.
• Strong Microsoft Excel experience in data management, including maintaining cohesive data structures, operating within structured data environments, and working with highly complex data sets is essential.
• Proficiency with the MSOffice suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.
• Experience with Power BI is an asset.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Good interpersonal skills, with an ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively, across multiple mediums (in-person, over the phone, and virtually).
• Demonstrate a high level of accountability, reliability, adaptability, and innovation in accomplishing day to day work, ongoing monthly processes and long-term goals.
• An ability to maintain the highest levels of confidentiality.
Compensation & Benefits:
Range $70,000.00 - $95,000.00 annually.
This range represents Wellington-Altus' expected range of compensation for this position. Actual compensation will vary and will be based on various factors, such as location, skills, experience, and qualification for the role. Compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. Wellington-Altus' total compensation package for employees may also include discretionary bonuses as well as other perks and rewards.
