We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst, Global T&E – Travel Planning who will play a key role in ensuring a smooth and policy-compliant travel experience for Versant employees. This role supports the day-to-day travel operations in coordination with Versant’s Travel Management Company (TMC), and serves as a go-to resource for traveler support, pre-trip planning, vendor coordination, and travel policy adherence. The analyst will also support global travel program initiatives and reporting across air, hotel, and ground transportation services.
Key Responsibilities
Service Delivery
- Serve as the primary point of contact for travel-related inquiries from employees, including reservations, policy guidance, traveler support, and preferred supplier utilization.
- Partner closely with Versant's Travel Management Company (TMC) to oversee daily travel operations, resolve service issues, monitor service levels, and drive continuous improvement.
- Manage traveler profile onboarding and maintenance, ensuring accurate traveler data, travel preferences, and compliance requirements are configured within the booking platform.
- Assist in supporting high-priority travel requirements for executive leadership, production-related events, and other critical business needs.
- Collaborate with Human Resources, Finance, Procurement, Security, and business stakeholders to support evolving travel requirements and operational needs.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance traveler-facing resources, including travel policies, SOPs, FAQs, communications, and training materials.
- Partner with Communications to continue to enhance and expand travel-related content to Versant’s internal portal “The Verse.”
- Support traveler safety and duty-of-care processes by coordinating with internal and external partners during travel disruptions, emergencies, or risk events.
- Coordinate activities related to the hotel RFP process, including spend and demand analysis, supplier engagement, support for rate negotiations, and rate loading.
Standards and Controls
- Monitor and enforce compliance with company travel policies, negotiated supplier programs, and approval requirements.
- Audit negotiated supplier rates in the online booking tool to ensure rate availability, accuracy, and compliance with contracted agreements.
- Review and analyze out-of-policy bookings, identify trends, recommend corrective actions, and escalate exceptions as appropriate.
- Monitor unused ticket inventories and travel credits, ensuring timely utilization and reporting of potential savings opportunities.
- Partner with the TMC and internal stakeholders to maintain data accuracy across booking systems, traveler profiles, and reporting platforms.
- Support audit requests, policy reviews, documentation retention, and internal control activities related to business travel spend.
- Assist in evaluating and maintaining travel program governance, controls, and compliance processes to support organizational objectives.
Performance
- Track and analyze key travel program metrics, including advance purchase behavior, supplier adoption, policy compliance, online booking utilization, missed savings, and traveler satisfaction.
- Analyze travel spend data and trends to identify savings opportunities, inform decision-making, and support travel program optimization.
- Prepare recurring and ad hoc travel reports, dashboards, and executive summaries for Finance, Leadership, Procurement, and other stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, reduce travel costs, and enhance the overall traveler experience.
- Support supplier performance reviews by analyzing service levels, traveler feedback, utilization trends, and contract compliance.
- Assist in benchmarking travel program performance and identifying best practices to support continuous program improvement.
People
- Deliver training and onboarding for employees, executives, and administrative assistants on travel tools, policies, and booking processes.
- Serve as an advocate for travelers by proactively resolving issues and ensuring a positive traveler experience.
- Act as the liaison between employees, travel suppliers, and the TMC to manage escalations and ensure timely issue resolution.
- Support change management initiatives related to policy updates, technology enhancements, supplier transitions, and travel program communications.
- Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure travel services effectively support business objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Corporate and Production Travel Planning, or related areas (media or multinational experience a plus).
- Experience with online booking tool and expense management tools, and working with TMCs highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of corporate travel programs (airfare, hotels, ground) and policies.
- Familiarity with travel program reporting, supplier management, duty-of-care programs, and travel risk management.
- Experience supporting multinational or media and entertainment organizations.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail, ability to prioritize, and comfort working in a fast-paced environment.

- Hybrid This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the Orlando, FL office a minimum of three days per week.
