
Senior Financial Analyst – Trade Finance The Sr Financial Analyst – Trade Finance provides support to the Sales and Finance teams to ensure effective management of trade spend within budgets and ensuring compliance in the Trade Promotion Management (TPM) system. The Sr Financial Analyst supports and monitors the Sales Teams’ use of Demantra to ensure the most accurate trade spend estimates possible. The role will also be tasked with analysis of spend, identify optimization opportunities and collaborate with Finance leadership on total P&L management. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Provide trade management guidance and training to Field Sales in the effective implementation of customer specific programs and national promotional programs for customers. Act as the “hub” for trade Spend tracking, planning and monitoring.Provide ongoing Demantra trade promotion management system guidance to field sales to ensure promotional spend is accurately captured and system tasks are managed.Conduct Demantra software and usage training with field sales as needed.Lead the review and utilization of promotional spend reports with field sales to ensure accurate financial liability accrual.Develop and maintain financial reports in Excel on key performance indicatorsEnsure adequate financial control and policy adherence in the Demantra TPM arena with the Sales TeamCollaborate with IT, Finance, Revenue Growth Management, Accounting and Sales to administer the Demantra TPM system as efficiently and effectively as possible.Calculate and validate customer rebate calculations as necessary for large customer rebate contracts.Perform reconciliation of planned trade spend with actual spend as part of monthly close process.Provide input & insight to overall monthly financial forecasting process OTHER NECESSARY FUNCTIONS:Models the Keurig Dr Pepper valuesFollows all policies, procedures, ergonomic standards and safety requirements directed by Keurig Dr Pepper and the departmentPerforms other job related duties as requested by management
4-year college degree and 5 years of trade marketing or sales experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry. Prefer Finance or Accounting degree or specializationExcellent reporting and data analysis skills in ExcelExperience with utilizing forecast data, distributor data, syndicated data and sales shipment information.Experience with Trade Promotion Management systems (TPM -Demantra preferred) and TPO software preferredStrong analytical, written, verbal and interpersonal skills.Ability to work flexible hours.Outstanding organizational skills to ensure tight deadlines are met both internally and externally.Excellent communication skills, including written and presentation skills.Ability and enthusiasm for acquiring new skills and knowledge.Understanding of the specialty coffee market or beverage market is a plus.Ability to uphold safety standards, participates in continuous process improvement on the job, and follow our manufacturing best practices.Ability to get along with others, be punctual, and follow instructions.Ability to follow Keurig Dr Pepper policies and procedures as well as our operating principles.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS:Predominately sedentary light office position with high frequency of keyboarding/computer work required (67% - 100% of the workday)
