Senior Financial Analyst – Technical Accounting, Controls & Compliance

We are seeking aSenior Financial Analyst – Technical Accounting, Controls & Complianceto strengthen financial reporting, internal controls, and overall financial integrity. This is askills-based rolewhere the successful candidate brings strong technical accounting knowledge, discipline in documentation, and comfort working across systems and stakeholders.

Specific responsibilities will be defined based on business needs and the candidate’s strengths, and may evolve to include close activities, accounting policy interpretation, incentive programs, reserves, or other controllership mandates.

Key Focus Areas

Technical Accounting & Policy

  • Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRSand their practical application.

  • Ability to research, interpret, and clearly explain accounting guidance.

  • Prepare concise technical documentation for management and auditors.

Controls, Compliance & Close

  • Experience within acontrolsframework(e.g., SOX), including documentation, execution, and testing.

  • Identifyrisks and support continuous improvement of processes and controls.

  • Perform or supportperiod-end close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.

Systems, Data & Automation

  • AdvancedExcelskills and experience with ERP/finance systems.

  • Ability to reconcile data across systems and resolve discrepancies.

  • Openness to usingAI tools and automationto streamline recurring tasks and strengthen controls.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to partner with finance, ops, IT, and audit.

  • Clear written and verbal communication, including summarizing complex issues.

Qualifications

  • Successful completion of Bachelor’s degree inAccounting, Finance, or related field

  • Professional designation(e.g., CPA)stronglypreferred.

  • 3+ yearsin accounting, audit, or controllership.

  • Proven attention to detail, ownership of deliverables, and ability to manage deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $97,800.00 to $146,600.00. The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
