APM Terminals
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Reviewing monthly financial reporting completed by accounting teams. Ensuring compliance of accounting with respect IFRS and Group Reporting and Accounting Policies.
- Controlling of inputs - Financial and operational data in One stream. Variance analysis of all components of financial statements including PnL, Balance sheet, cash flow and off-balance sheet accounts.
- Ensure timely sign off by entities in One stream with continuous follow up and communication. Assist entities with reporting queries to enable timely sign off from entities.
- Communicate proactively with entities to improve One stream reporting. Prepare various control related reports with analytical commentary. Support various projects related to balance sheet reconciliations, Risk based financial reviews, Validating One stream mapping with local chart of accounts and providing recommendations to entities, Group Tax Project etc.
Ideal Characteristics:
- Thorough knowledge of accounting standards and principles with Accounting & Financial Reporting.
- Good understanding of IFRS and its applicability in financial reporting. Result-driven and an individual contributor.
- Excellent multi-tasking abilities, Structured and has a high attention to quality.
- Ability to handle high pressure during stringent deadlines
- Meets required goals and deadlines in a timely and accurate manner independently.
- Effective and timely communication with stake holders involved Ability to manage expectations of multiple stakeholders Identify and prioritize task effectively.
Knowledge & Qualifications:
- CA with prior experience in FNA domain of at least 4 to 6 years in financial consolidation for the group, financial controlling and reporting.
- Prior experience of working on HFM/ One stream application and smart view, Advanced working knowledge of HFM/ One stream Computer literate (Windows) & Strong MS Excel skills (v-lookup, Pivots, Complex formulae) and MS PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication skills (English) – Fluent Oral & Written Analytical & Problem-Solving ability for trouble shooting Prior experience in BPO is preferable
