The Senior HR Financial Analyst is a key member of the Corporate HR team, partnering with HR, Finance, and business leaders to drive budgeting, forecasting, workforce planning, and financial reporting. This role supports strategic decision-making through financial analysis, budget management, leadership reporting, and oversight of Generac's people-planning systems.
Major Responsibilities:
Manage the Corporate HR budget, partnering with leaders on planning, forecasting, and financial performance.
Provide budget, forecast, and project analysis to support business objectives.
Support profitability initiatives through financial analysis and reporting.
Track budgets, prepare ad hoc reports, and provide ongoing financial insights.
Partner with Business Group leaders to analyze variances and forecast performance.
Support HR initiatives and maintain people-planning models, including OneStream.
Minimum Job Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field.
Work Experience
3+ years of experience in accounting, finance, FP&A, or financial analysis.
Experience with budgeting and financial forecasting.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Advanced Excel skills and experience building financial models.
Experience with SAP and Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
Knowledge of month-end accruals and financial reporting processes.
Strong understanding of financial statements and P&L analysis.
Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.

Experience managing HR or corporate budgets.
Manufacturing industry experience.
Experience working for a publicly traded company.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Ability to lead cross-functional projects and drive results.
Understanding of GAAP and financial compliance principles.
