Senior Financial Analyst – Analytics & Transformation
We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst – Strategy, Analytics & Transformationto provide insight-driven support to leadership and help shape future business decisions. This skills-based rolefocuses on strategic analysis, financial modelling, and driving change across processes and systems.
Responsibilities will be defined based on business priorities and the candidate’s experience, and may evolve to include pricing andmarginwork, portfolio strategy, commercial initiatives, or large-scale transformation projects.
Key Focus Areas
Strategic & Commercial Finance
Build financial modelsfor scenarios, business cases, and strategic options.
Assess profitabilityby product, customer, or channel and recommend actions.
Support leadership with concise, decision-ready analysis.
Analytics & Data Visualization
Work with analytics and visualization tools(e.g., Power BI or similar).
Turn large, complex data sets into clear insights and dashboards.
Design recurringreporting thathighlights key trends andperformancedrivers.
Transformation & Change Enablement
Contribute to process or systems transformationand cross-functional projects.
Collaborate with finance, operations, sales, IT, and other partners to gather requirements and support adoption.
Operate effectively amid ambiguityand evolving priorities.
AI, Automation & Innovation
Leverage AI and automation toolsto streamline analyses and reporting, improve data quality, and free capacity for higher-value work.
Qualifications
Post-secondary degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or related field (MBA/graduatedegreean asset).
5+ yearsin finance, strategy, analytics, or related roles.
Demonstrated experience with advanced Excel, financial modelling, and data visualization tools
Proven ability to work cross-functionally, manage multiple priorities, and convert analysis into clear, actionable recommendations.
Compensation
The salary range for this role is $97,800.00 to $146,600.00. The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
