Job Description

Purpose:

The Senior Financial Analyst supports the Automotive Glass Replacement (AGR) business by providing financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal control oversight. This role partners with service center leadership, regional managers, and corporate stakeholders to analyze financial results, monitor key performance metrics, streamline reporting processes, ensure compliance with internal controls, and deliver actionable insights that drive profitability, efficiency, and strategic business objectives.

Essential Functions

  • Compile and analyze financial information for the Automotive Glass Replacement division
  • Assist with month-end close process, including preparing journal entries and explaining variances between actual, budget, forecast, and prior year.
  • Develop system tools to automate and expedite the reporting process.
  • Assist in the budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Communicate with and assist internal customers at our service centers.
  • Participate in the annual budget process for consolidation of the Service Centers, Distribution and Group departments.
  • Prepare/analyze service center performance monthly i.e. cost-to-serve analyses, profit & loss statements, key ratio analysis.
  • Prepare/analyze AGR US required monthly, quarterly and annual reporting.
  • Prepare journal entries for month-end close process
  • Prepare/assist the Leadership Team and regional GMs in ad hoc performance analysis.
  • Complete Internal Control assignments as well as any assigned External Audit Data requests.
  • Ensure proper internal control procedures are being followed within the AGR SBU.
  • Participate in service center internal controls audits
  • Special Projects as needed.
  • Adherence to NSG/Pilkington Standards of Business Conduct and its Values and Principles
  • Other duties as assigned by manager

Qualifications Required:

  • BS/BA in accounting or finance
  • 5+ years of accounting/finance experience
  • Experience in preparing journal entries
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong Computer skills, including advanced Excel and query writing skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to work independently
  • Must possess valid driver’s license and maintain acceptable MVR according to AGR’s standard

Qualifications Desired:

  • Experience working with SAP
  • Experience creating and maintaining reports using Power BI or other reporting tools.

Salary starting from $100,764
